We started to develop the CarbonCapt technology in 2017, when we formulated and comprehensively tested a range of Flexol-Carbostrip absorbing solvents in our laboratory.
Later on we designed and manufactured the CarbonCapt pilot plant in 2018, and since the fall of 2018 till spring, 2019 we captured and liquefied 600 ton of CO2 within 3000 operating hours.
From September, 2021 and until May, 2022 we designed, built and tested the mobile ElectroDialysis Module (EDM), designated for highly efficient withdrawal of Heat Stable Salts (HSS) from amine solvents. We achieved a really good result and now we can offer HSS withdrawal as a standard service for big industrial emitters of CO2.
In December of 2022 we commissioned our first industrial CarbonCapt-Trad LP unit with the annual capacity of 18,000 metric tons of CO2 captured. This CarbonCapt plant is designated for energy and cost effective CO2 capture from the Gas Piston Engine (GPE) power plant.
The two year operation was smooth and stable, in full correspondence to the submitted performance guarantees. So today we are ready to offer our customers a Process Design Package (PDP), mechanical, electrical and automation equipment supply, as well as a range of our proprietary Flexol-CarboStrip solvents.
We can also offer an EPC project and O&M Contract for the CarbonCapt unit supplied.
