Containerized CarbonCapt plant is completed and ready for use as a pilot for process parameters identification at the European CO2 emitters production sites: cement plants, gas turbine power station, coal fueled power station, fertilizers production facilities.
The full set of equipment is allocated in 20ft container, the fully automated pilot plant is designated to test various amine-based solvents, to investigate the flue gas chemical composition and physical properties, as well as CO2 absorption capacity, solvent losses, aerosol mitigation and other principal parameters.
The design CarbonCapt pilot plant CO2 absorption capacity is up to 10kg of CO2 per hour, provided the CO2 content in flue gas is about 15%. This capacity of the pilot plant may seem not too big, but this capacity will give us a full picture to understand the Customer's flue gas characteristics, to test a number of suitable solvents for the CO2 emitting facility in question, to develop the FEED for future project activities.
The CarbonCapt pilot plant is available for European partners, starting March, 2025.
So, dear colleagues, you are very welcome to write to us and ask questions and order the trial testing programs at your production site.
